Lily and the Curse of the Forest

 What's the story?

Once upon a time, there was a  little girl named Lily in a small village deep down in the forest. She was really friendly, she always smiles and she had a special talent for singing. Everyone in her village loved to hear her sing and she often gathered around her to hear her beautiful voice.


One day, a terrible curse fell on the village. Crops began to wither, animals started being sick, and once-busy villages became desperate places. The villagers tried everything to break the curse, but nothing worked. One day, the village elder had a vision that the only way to break the curse was for Lily to sing a special song in front of the village.


The villagers were skeptical but decided to try it. They asked Lily to sing and she proudly approved. She went to the fountain, took a deep deep breath, and started singing. Nothing happened at first. But the water in the well was stirred and a beautiful fairy appeared.


The fairy explained that the curse was brought to the village by the wrath of the forest spirits who were upset because the villagers cut down too many trees.


The villagers followed the fairy's advice and set about planting new trees and making peace with the forest spirits. Slowly but surely the curse was lifted and the village returned to its former state of happiness and prosperity. The good message behind this story is that we should always respect nature and care for the environment. As the villagers learned, our actions have consequences and we must take responsibility for our impact on the world around us. By working together to effect positive change, we can heal the damage we have caused and create a better future for all. 

My opinion?

As an avid reader of fiction, I found the story interesting and thought-provoking.The vivid depiction of the forest and village made me feel right next to the characters, and the story continued from start to finish. It was charming.


We appreciate stories that convey important messages about protecting the environment in a way that readers of all ages can understand and enjoy. It's easy to become so absorbed in everyday life that we forget the impact our actions have on the world around us. This story is a reminder that we are responsible for taking care of the planet we live on.


Overall, I highly recommend this story to anyone who loves good fairy tales with meaningful messages. It is a story that both children and adults can enjoy, and is sure to remain in the hearts of those who read it.
